Fushimi Inari Taisha is the head shrine of Inari shrines enshrined all over Japan.

伏見稲荷大社は、全国各地に祀られている稲荷神社の総本宮です。

Originally, Fushimi Inari Taisha was enshrined as the god of agriculture, but from the Middle Ages to the early modern period, it became popular as the god of prosperous business and family safety.

prosperous：繁盛する

元々伏見稲荷大社は農耕の神様として祀られていましたが、中世から近世にかけては、商売繁盛、家内安全の神として親しまれるようになりました。
